St. John's has added another simple fundraising program. It is a scrip program from Great Lakes Scrip Center. www.glscrip.com A "scrip" is substitute money, such as a gift certificate or a gift card from national and local retailers. They're the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in the scrip program including, but not limited to, JCPenny, the Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Red Lobster and many, many others. Purchasing cards and certificates at regular price from the Great Lakes Scrip program earns St. John's 3% to 20% from the sales.
