Council Minutes

Attendance was significantly down in May, but giving continues to keep pace with the budget. The ELC has received the loan from STJ in June and another amount is expected to be sent to them. Enrollment will be up to 14 by the beginning of July and the ELC should be self-supporting.

Council moved to check all volunteers who work with youth and children through the Offenders Registry, cost will be covered by the church. A class on Sexual Harassment will also be offered this fall, mandatory for staff and recommended for all Sunday School teachers and youth leaders.

Ten families were moved from active to inactive status, letters will be mailed notifying them and encouraging them to become active again.

New flooring is needed in both bathrooms, cost estimates to be emailed to council and a work group to be organized.

Leslie will check potential Christmas tree vendors who might be interested in using our lot.

Congregational meeting agenda was discussed, continuing the Concession Stand fundraiser will be discussed.

Tentatively, council will not meet in July.
