Crochet and Quilting Groups The women of St. John's crochet group have been meeting nearly every Tuesday since November of 2000 to talk, laugh, and most importantly, make afghans for donation. We give our afghans to the Linus Project for sick children. We have made over 560 afghans. Project Linus is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization with a mission to "provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteers". In addition, these ladies also make hats for chemotherapy patients in the metro area. If you crochet or would like to learn, please join us! We meet on Mondays, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the church. View our Events Calendar to verify times. Contact Rosemary Stover for more information. Quilting Group If you already quilt, come join us for inspiration and friendship.
